Bienvenidos de Cusco

Hola todos. Today was mostly a travel day. Got onto the bus at 8am and drove the 6 hours from Puno to Cusco, the Inca capital of Peru. On the bus, which was two stories, our seats were right at the front, so we got to watch the beautiful scenery as we drove. Much better than a movie, even though they didn't even put one on. My seat was also broken, so I couldn't lean back to sleep properly. When we arrived in Cusco, we quickly checked in to our hotel, which is right behind the Incan Sun Temple (Best.. Location.. Ever), then our tour leader gave us our orientation tour around the city. It seems really cool and am looking forward to exploring the city more on our free day tomorrow! After a coffee stop, we got back to the hotel to meet our local guide for the Inca Trek!! Miguel seems really nice, and the trek seems really exciting!!! Am getting a bit anxious though. Just want to start and get it over with! 2 more sleeps!! Am about to head to dinner, so will blog tomorrow night! Hasta pronto!
